USCGC Gannet Dania FL (U.S. Coast Guard)
The USCGC Gannet, with its homeport in Dania, Florida, is a Sentinel-class coastal patrol boat operated by the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Commissioned in 1995, it is one of the USCG’s newer boats designed for missions such as law enforcement, search and rescue, marine environmental protection, and national defense. The Gannet carries a crew of up to 24 members and is equipped with advanced technology, including navigation radar, sonar systems, and communications equipment, enabling it to perform its duties efficiently in various maritime conditions. Its primary area of operation includes the waters off the southeastern coast of the United States, although it may be deployed elsewhere as needed.
