Arabia Moomin Mymble’s Mother Mug

This blue Arabia mug shows Mymble’s mother with all her mischievous children, whom she is seen chasing on the back. Moomin-founder Tove Jansson created the original illustration, which appears in the second Moomin comic book. It was then interpreted by Tove Slotte, who beautifully took the classic from paper to porcelain.

As always, the Moomin mugs are crafted from porcelain and are microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe. The new mugs have special details, like an identifying stamp on the bottom and attached gift tag with a sweet story about the design.

This one reads: “The older Mymble is a mother to Mymble, Little My, Snufkin adn their other siblings. She is a bit selfish, but is always in a good mood and she shows the character of a warm mother.”
