USCGC Mobile Bay WTGB 103 (U.S. Coast Guard)
The USCGC Mobile Bay (WTGB-103) is a National Security Cutter, a class of large coastal defense cutters operated by the United States Coast Guard. This particular vessel, with its distinctive hull identification symbol WTGB-103, entered service in 2010 as part of the U.S. Coast Guard’s efforts to strengthen maritime security and law enforcement within its jurisdiction. The Mobile Bay is equipped with advanced technology and systems for anti-terrorism, search and rescue, and marine environmental protection missions. It is named after the Mobile Bay in Alabama, a significant battleground during the American Civil War.
