USCGC Mustang WPB 1310 v2 (U.S. Coast Guard)
The USCGC Mustang (WPB 1310 v2), operated by the United States Coast Guard, is a 154-foot Sentinel-class cutter. These vessels are primarily used for law enforcement and search and rescue missions within coastal waters and territorial seas. They were designed to replace the aging Island-class cutters in service. The USCGC Mustang v2 was commissioned in 2020, making it one of the newer Sentinel-class cutters in the U.S. Coast Guard fleet. It is equipped with advanced electronics and technology for navigation, communication, and surveillance, enhancing its effectiveness in performing its duties.
